Chief von Colditz is a beautiful 18 month old Shepherd/Lab mix (best guess).  This happy boy with the lovely amber eyes is one very good dog.  Nothing seems to faze his sunny disposition, especially when he’s the in the company of friends.  Like most dogs his age, Chief has enough energy to keep up with his most sporty of pals but he’s a total lover and, after an outing, there is nothing he likes to do more than to lounge around with his friends.  If there is one word to describe Chief it is -- companion.  He seems to know when he should be goofy to make you smile and when to chill if you just need a cuddle.  As good as he is with people, Chief is also great around other dogs.   He is always eager to say hello, loves interaction with dog friends, and is always up to play and romp.  Chief is the type of dog who would fit in well in many different homes; he even appears to be housebroken.  An outdoorsy couple or active family is his first choice, as long as there’s plenty of time for cuddles too. Chief is even willing to travel out of state to your welcoming arms.
